1. Simple Present Tense
इस Tense में हमलोग बात करते हैं उस प्रकार के sentences का जिसके आखिर में (पहचान) ता है, ते हैं, ती है, ता हूं रहता है।
Examples of Affirmative sentences

तुम अंग्रेजी सीखते हो। You learn English.

मैं नहीं जानता हूं। I don’t know.
तुम काम नहीं करते हो। You don’t work.
वह नहीं आती है। She doesn’t come.
वे लोग बातें नहीं करते हैं। They don’t talk.
शेर घास नहीं खाता है। A lion doesn’t eat grass.

2. Present continuous Tense
इस Tense में हमलोग बात करते हैं उस प्रकार के sentences का जिसके आखिर में (पहचान) रहा है, रहे हो, रही है, रहा हूं, रहें हैं होता है।
इस Tense में हमेशा helping Verbs is/are/am के साथ main Verb में “ing’ लगा रहता है।

तुम बाजार जा रहे हो। You are going to market.
हम टीवी देख रहे हैं। We watching TV.
वह घर साफ कर रही है। She is cleaning the house.
वे लोग इंतजार कर रहे हैं। They are waiting.

3. Present Perfect Tense
इस Tense में हमलोग बात करते हैं उस प्रकार के sentences का जिसके आखिर में (पहचान) चुका है, चुके हैं, चुका हूं, चुकी है रहता है।
इस Tense में हम Have/ Has के साथ Verb का third form use करते हैं।
Examples of Positive sentences
मैं किताब लिख चुका हूं। I have written a book.
तुम काम कर चुके हो। You have done the work.
हमलोग उसे देख चुके हैं। We have seen him.
वह झारखंड जा चुका है। He had gone to Jharkhand.
मैच शुरू हो चुकी है। The match has begun.
ट्रैन पहुंच चुकी है। The train has arrived.

मैंने ग़लती नहीं किया है। I have not made a mistake.
तुमने मुझे याद नहीं दिलाया है। You have not reminded me.
वे लोग कहीं नहीं गये हैं। They have not gone anywhere.
बच्चा दूध नहीं पिया है। The child has not drunk milk.
पिताजी सवाल नहीं पूछे हैं। Father has not asked a question.

4. Present Perfect continuous Tense
इस Tense में हमलोग बात करते हैं उस प्रकार के sentences का जो काम past में शुरू हुआ था लेकिन वह काम अब भी जारी है अब भी हो रहा है जिसके आखिर में (पहचान) रहा है, रहे हो, रही है, रहा हूं, रहें हैं होता है।
- इस Tense में हम Have/ Has के साथ been और उसके बाद Verb का ‘ing’ form use करते हैं।
- इस Tense में हम ‘since’ ( से ) जो निश्चित समय (point of time) के लिए Use करते हैं और ‘For’ (से) जिसको अनिश्चित समय ( period of time) के लिए Use करते हैं।
- have को I, You, We, They, और कोई भी Plural subject के साथ लगाते हैं।
- has को He, She, It, name, और कोई भी Singular subject के साथ लगाते हैं।

मैं एक घंटा से तुम्हारा इंतज़ार कर रहा हूं। I have been waiting for you for an hour.
तुम चार दिनों से कंप्यूटर बना रहे हो। You have been repairing a computer for four days.
हमलोग जनवरी से स्कूल जा रहे हैं। We have been going to school since January.
वह बचपन से अंग्रेजी बोल रही है। She has been speaking English since childhood.
मेरा दोस्त कल से कहानी लिख रहा है। My friend has been writing a story since yesterday.
वह दस सालों से जमशेदपुर में रह रहा है। He has been living in Jamshedpur for ten years.
सोमवार से वर्षा हो रही है। It has been raining since Monday.
मैं 2018 से किताब लिख रहा हूं। I have been writing a book since 2018.
बच्चा दस मिनट से रो रहा है। The child has been weeping for ten minutes.

मैं दो दिनों से नौकरी नहीं कर रहा हूं। I have not been doing a job for two days.
मदन कल से नहीं पढ़ रहा है। Madan has not been reading since yesterday.
हमलोग मार्च से यहां नहीं आ रहे हैं। We have not been coming here since March.
लड़का सूबह से टीवी नहीं देख रहा है। The boy has not been watching TV since morning.

1. Simple past Tense
इस Tense में हमलोग बात करते हैं ऐसा काम जो भूतकाल में past में हो गया और sentence के आखिर में (पहचान) था, थी, थे, रहता है।
इस Tense में subject के साथ Verb का second (V²) form का प्रयोग होगा।
Examples of positive sentences
मैंने तुम्हें बताया था। I told you.
उसने मेरा कलम चुराया था। He stole my pen.
हमलोग दिल्ली गये थे। We went to Delhi.
भाई मिठाई लाया था। Brother brought sweets.
बच्चा सो गया था। The child slept.
उसने मुझे मेल भेजा था। He sent me a mail.

Note: इस Tense में nagetive sentences बनाने के लिए did not लगाते हैं और इसके बाद हमेशा V¹ आएगा, V² नहीं
वह कल नहीं आई थी। She did not come yesterday.
आदमी कार नहीं चलाया था। A man did not drive a car.
मैंने कुछ नहीं किया। I did not do anything.
हमने उसे नहीं पीटा था। We did not beat him.
वह किताब नहीं लाया था। He did not bring a book.
कल वर्षा नहीं हुई थी। It did not rain yesterday.

2. Past Continuous Tense
इस Tense में हमलोग सीखने जा रहे हैं कि ऐसा काम जो भूतकाल में past में हो रहा था लेकिन काम कब खत्म हुआ ये मालूम नहीं । इसके sentence के आखिर में (पहचान) रहा था, रही थी, रहे थे, रहता है।
इस Tense में हम was/were के साथ V⁴ (ing) का प्रयोग करते हैं।

वे लोग मैदान में खेल रहे थे। They were playing in the ground.
मैं अपने भाई के साथ आ रहा था। I was coming with my brother.
वह पैसे गिन रहा था। He was counting money.
मेरे चाचा मुझे पढ़ा रहे थे। My uncle was teaching me.
किसान गायें को घास दे रहा था। The farmer was giving grass to cows.

Past Perfect and Past perfect continuous Tense, spoken English में ना के बराबर Use होता है इसलिए हम इन दोनों Tense को नहीं बता रहे हैं।

3. Simple Future Tense
इस Tense में हमलोग सीखेंगे उस प्रकार के sentences को जिसके आखिर में (पहचान) गा, गे, गी रहता है जिसकी अंग्रेजी ‘will/shall’ होता है, लेकिन आजकल spoken English में ‘shall’ का प्रयोग बहुत कम होता है।
Examples of positive sentence
मैं उसकी मदद करूंगा। I will help him.
तुम एक दिन कामयाब हो जाओगे। You will become success one day.
वह हमारे लिए भोजन बनाएगी। She will prepare food for us.
शिक्षक हमें पढ़ाएंगे। The teacher will teach us.
वह पटना जाएगा। He will go to Patna.
वह गाना गाएगा। He will sing a song.
वह यहां परसो आएगा। He will come day after tomorrow.
वह मेरा इंतजार करेगा। He will wait for me.

वह हमारा साथ नहीं देगा ? He will not support us.
वह मकान साफ नहीं करेगी । She will not clean a house.
शेर घास नहीं खाएगा। A lion will not eat grass.
