The passage is mostly made of Tense, modal verbs, phrasal verbs and some new words meaning. 

The Taj Mahal is one of the most beautiful buildings (भवन) in the world. More than three hundred years ago, emperor (बादशाह) Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal as a tomb ( समाधि/ कब्र) for his wife.

Shah Jahan loved his wife very much. He wanted her tomb to be perfect. He did not care about time or money. He found (पता लगाया) the finest (सबसे अच्छा) workmen in Asia. Altogether, over 20, 0000 different men worked on the building. It took over (इसमें लगा) seventeen years to finish it.

The building rests (खड़ा) on a platform of sandstone (बलुआ). Four slender (पतन) white towers, or minarets (मीनार), rise from the corners of the terrace. A large domeन rises from the centre of the building. Around (चारों तरफ) this large dome there are similar  domes.

The building is made of fine white marble (ससंगेमरमर )with inlays (जड़ाऊ काम) of coloured marble. The body of Shah Jahan and his wife lie( दफनाया) in a tomb below the room.
